“Eternal Ioana”

Celi had just left us, one month later, I crossed her by chance in an escalator of a Parisian department store. The emotion was strong, we were exchanged some words with the promise to come to see her very fast.  My visits were connected. I remember our ballades in smart – this small car amused him a lot, her who liked so much car, but I did not have Porsche to propose to him! We were going to make some shopping and the discussions were animated, not to especially say clear-cut when we approach the politics, one of its favorite subjects! Then there were these moments in the workshop where we restored a little order while trying to install a purificatory air machine which we had just bought …

I would not forget his “committed” presence when it has was necessary to support the memory of Furtwängler for the umpteenth time she was there; determined in spite of its irritated eyes. I see again her to say myself: “It should be done, you are right! Kiss Mrs Furtwängler for me”. It was in March 2005, it snowed and she had nevertheless come: “for Furtwängler”! I still hear him!

It was all that Ioana for me, of the moments strong, funny, without turnings I keep one of his works preciously painted according to a poem of Rainer-Maria Rilke.“Return to see me quickly”! She left too quickly.
