Wolfgang Pissors Comedian

A comedian and singer from the banks of Lake Constance, Wolfgang Pissors completed his theatrical and musical studies in Paris at the Cours René Simon drama school and at the Opera Workshop run by Claude Allard at the Frédéric Chopin Conservatory. His training was enriched by Zygmunt Molik and Gennadi Bogdanov. He has played roles such as the mayor in the light opera The Creole by Offenbach and le chanteur de complaintes in "l'Opéra de Quat'Sous" by Weill directed by Christian Schiaretti and conducted by Jean-Claude Malgoire, and the Baron in Parisian life from Offenbach at Théâtre Marigny in Paris. In front of the camera, he has appeared in lots of films and telefilms directed by directors like: Philippe Béranger - Boule de suif, Jérome Salles - Largo Winch I and II, Paul Cowan - Paris 1919, Robert Guédiguian - L'Armée du crime, Jean-Paul Salomé - Les Femmes de l'ombre, Joyce Bunuel - Marie et Madeleine, Caroline Huppert - Deux femmes à Paris, Stephen Frears - The Queen, Jean-Paul Rappeneau - Bon Voyage, Claude Lelouch - Les Misérables or Jean-Louis Lorenzi - L'Ami Fritz, Chat Bleu Chat Noir. He regularly performs in the creations of Myriam Dooge, Hé Eau, Les Trois Ecus d'Or, Café Jardin, in France and abroad.

Fluent in three languages, Wolfgang Pissors is perfectly at home in such diverse realms as those of German, English and French composers.
